The speed of your broadband connection can be affected by many things including:
• Where you live
• What broadband provider you use
• How far away you are from the telephone exchange
• Your router
This is also affected by the router that you use, so if you require a faster connection, it is recommended you look out for routers with a higher Mbps (millions of bits per second or megabits per second)
The normal speed of a connection is between 512Kbps (Kilobytes per second) and 10Mbps
