Media streaming is a method of providing multimedia files such as audio, video and data around the home.
Media streaming can consist of multimedia stored in a central device like a PC, laptop or storage server. This multimedia can then be accessed and streamed directly via media streaming device.
With the introduction of PowerLine HomePlug technology it is possible to stream High-Definition movies, music and podcasts from a storage server in one room in your home directly to a media streaming device in any other room i.e. study to lounge.
